The Maronite General Council: Wishing You a Blessed Year
On the occasion of the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan for Muslims and the eve of the Great Lent for Christians following both the Western and Eastern calendars, the Maronite General Council, under the presidency of Engineer Michel Matte, extends its warmest greetings and best wishes to all Lebanese united in fasting and prayer, asking God to bring these blessed occasions upon our beloved nation with peace and stability.
These spiritual times are an opportunity for reflection, prayer, and devotion, as well as a chance to embody the highest values of solidarity and unity among the people of our nation, regardless of their religious affiliations, in the face of the challenges we encounter. We pray that God blesses our days of fasting, grants us strength and faith, and fulfills all hopes with goodness and blessings in this sacred and holy period.
