Aoun on the 110th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide: Armenians Are an Integral Part of the National Identity
On the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, stressed “the importance of upholding the principles of justice, human rights, and human dignity.”
Aoun stated: “Lebanese citizens of Armenian origin are a model of genuine national belonging, and they have always been an integral part of Lebanon’s rich and diverse identity.”

À l’occasion du 110e anniversaire du génocide arménien, le président de la République, le général Joseph Aoun, a souligné « l’importance de l’attachement aux principes de justice, des droits de l’homme et de la dignité humaine ».
Aoun a déclaré : « Les Libanais d’origine arménienne sont un exemple d’appartenance nationale sincère, et ils ont toujours fait partie intégrante de l’identité libanaise, riche et plurielle. »
