These movements are part of the international community’s support for efforts aimed at enhancing stability and avoiding military escalation, which aligns with the calls of Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and Foreign Minister Jo Rahi for adherence to international resolutions to ensure Lebanon’s protection from the risk of slipping into a new military conflict.
However, calls for the implementation of international resolutions, particularly Resolution 1701 and the ceasefire agreement, are facing skepticism and accusations of betrayal from some parties, who seek to undermine these demands. Those advocating for adherence to international resolutions are not, as portrayed, anti-Lebanese. On the contrary, they express their concern for the country’s security and stability. In response to these targeted media campaigns against official figures seeking to secure Lebanon, critics should recognize the sincere national efforts aimed at preventing the outbreak of war and protecting Lebanon’s future.
Lebanon’s stability, according to the clear position in the statement, requires full adherence to international legitimacy resolutions. This not only includes the implementation of these resolutions but also extends to strengthening the role of the Lebanese state in asserting its sovereignty over all its territory. Such stability can only be achieved if the state can monopolize the use of force and hold the decision-making power on war, which are essential elements for ensuring the safety of the Lebanese people and protecting their future.

Cette visite intervient à un moment sensible, car elle cherche à suivre les développements en cours dans la région et à faciliter les négociations indirectes entre les deux pays. Cela ne se limite pas à la mise en œuvre de ces résolutions, mais s’étend également au renforcement du rôle de l’État libanais dans l’affirmation de sa souveraineté sur l’ensemble de son territoire. Une telle stabilité ne peut être réalisée que si l’État parvient à monopoliser l’usage de la force et à détenir la décision de guerre, qui sont des éléments essentiels pour garantir la sécurité des Libanais et protéger leur avenir.
